SUMMARY:RUNIN Conference: Universities\, Innovation and Regions
DESCRIPTION:Invited participants and guests\, please be welcomed to a RUNIN Conference in Oslo\, Norway. on Friday 2nd June 2023. \nThe conference will take place at Nationaltheatret Konferansesenter. Please find the preliminary programme further down on this page. \nABOUT RUNIN\nWith the increasing importance of knowledge economy\, universities are expected to play a pivotal role in innovation and development of regions. Meanwhile\, universities have responded by enlarging their portfolio with the third mission and engaging in impactful research\, education and innovation activities. However\, the role of universities in regional innovation and development processes is multi-faceted and plays out differently across various institutional contexts. \nThe Role of Universities in Innovation and Regional Development (RUNIN) is the topic of a Horizon 2020 MSCA Innovative Training Network of 14 Early-Career Researchers across seven universities and nine regional development agencies in Europe\, being active from 2016 to 2021. The 14 PhD projects include both the perspective of universities as well as that of the regions\, creating a broad body of new knowledge on the relationship between them. \nEven though RUNIN has officially ended\, RUNIN researchers received additional funding from The Research Council of Norway to disseminate its results further in Norway. The dissemination project\, titled Promoting RUNIN in Norway\, invites you to a conference on 2nd June 2023 from 09:30 – 14:30\, where research results from the project will be presented and discussed. \n\nThe conference will take place at Nationaltheatret Konferansesenter in Oslo from 10:00 to 14:30\, with lunch at around noon. SUMMARY:Introductory training event in Lincoln
DESCRIPTION:Event Description \nLorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s\, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries\, but also the leap into electronic typesetting\, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages\, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
